Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Burnished Studios. 

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


Exchanges / Refunds / Returns / Sizing

All of our jewellery pieces are one off designs, therefore we can't always offer an alternative size. Please ensure the size is correct before placing your order. We will state in the information section of the individual jewellery piece, if it is able to be resized. If the jewellery piece states it is able to be resized, please ensure to send an email asking to do so (burnishedstudios@hotmail.com) prior to or within 24 hours of purchasing the jewellery piece. In this case Burnished Studios will confirm if the piece is able to be resized and will resize within a two week period prior to sending. Most items will only be able to be resized UP or DOWN by three sizes. If you're unsure about your ring size you can always visit your local jeweller to find out, before placing your order. If you have purchased a one off piece that doesn't fit, you can check with your local jeweller if they can resize it for you.

At this stage Burnished Studios is not offering any exchanges, returns or refunds of your purchased item due to each piece being one of a kind. Sale items may not be returned.

Following this, if the item has any faults, please read on to the warranty section. 

 

Warranty

I offer a 3 month warranty to protect you against faults and defects in craftsmanship. Please contact us at burnishedstudios@hotmail.com with photos of the piece, along with your order number. We only ask that you cover the cost of returning the piece/s to us.This warranty does not cover general wear and tear over time. 

 

Lost/Missing Items:

In the event that your item has been lost by the postal system, we will remake your item once Australia Post has declared it lost/missing. If the item is something that can’t be remade we will discuss other options. These will be dealt with case by case. Unfortunately we cannot refund lost or missing items.- We have upheld our side of the transaction by making and sending your item. 

You will need to contact us with your order number and we will lodge an enquiry on behalf of you, with me being the sender it makes the process much quicker with AusPost.

 

Confidentiality

Burnished Studios respects the confidentiality of any information shared during the design process or any services. We will not disclose any confidential information without your consent, except where required by law.

 

Limitation of Liability

Burnished Studios will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use our website or services. We strive to provide accurate and reliable information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of our content.

 

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website or services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions will still apply.

 

Custom Orders

Your custom order enquiry will be reviewed and approved if your design is within our capability. You must ensure you have given us the right size, as custom pieces cannot be resized or exchanged. 

A piece may take up to 3-4 weeks to complete depending on the design. Once completed, you will be sent photos of the finalised piece and final payment requested. 

 

Client Responsibilities

When entering into a project agreement with Burnished Studios you agree to provide accurate information and timely feedback throughout the design process. This includes providing necessary content, materials, and approvals as requested.

Due to the nature of custom pieces, these are ineligible for returns or refund.

Payment of custom pieces

Payment terms will be outlined in our project agreement. A deposit may be required before work begins, and full payment is due upon project completion. Failure to make payment may result in the suspension or termination of services.
